hydrogen differ from alkali metals because hydrogen atom has only one shell whereas alkali metals have two or more shells.
and oxide of hydrogen is a neutral oxide where does oxides of alkali metals are basic in nature

(2) hydrogen is differ from halogens as it has 1 less electron for completing the outter most shell as halogens have but it doesnt take that electron from other element for its maximum stability ...
