A gland is different from any other organ in the body,in the following ways -

• A gland is made out of a group of biological cells.

But,

A organ is made out of a group of tissues.

• A gland can secrete biochemical substances (eg. Hormones) which are necessary for our body.

But,

Most of the organs do not secrete such biochemical substance.

• A gland is usually smaller than most of the organs.

And many more.
