The criterian used by UNDP for measuring development different from World Bank as :-

i. UNDP compares countries based on the educational level of the people and their Morality rate. On the other hand World Bank compares the development by per - capita income or average income.

ii. UNDP ranks 1st, 2nd ,3rd on the basis of comparison where as world bank divides into three categories :-

1.High Income country.

2.Middle Income Country

3. Poor or underdeveloped country.
