Answer:
The word chalcolithic is a combination of two words meaning copper and stone. Prior to Harappa civilization, people used stone for all purposes. They made tools with stones too. During the Harappan civilization the use of copper and bronze in combination with stones were started. At the excavation of the civilization lots of weapons and tools were found made in a combination of stone and copper or bronze. This proves that Harappan civilization marks the advancement of Chalcolithic cultures.
