hi mate your answer is The changes in the caste system benefited the most were urban middle and upper class. Caste status ensured these groups the necessary economic and educational resources and they took full advantage of the opportunities offered by rapid development. Particularly the upper caste elite were able to benefit from subsidised public education, specially professional education in science, technology, medicine and management. They were also able to take advantages of the expansion of state sector jobs in the early decades after independence. Because of this earlier load over the rest of the society in terms of education ensured a privileged status.

Answer:

The changes that were made in the caste system was most beneficial to the people of urban middle and upper class.

Explanation:

Upper caste highly benefitted in terms of education that was subsidized for them, professional education was provided to them in various fields. They was also advantage in terms of state sector jobs which was given to them. They enjoyed the most from all the policies of development that were made after the colonial era. So, it was like caste system was invisible for them.

In turn, this system became more visible for the backward and the SC ST’s.
