In what sense rights are fundamental rights?

Some rights are called fundamental rights because they are basic rights required for any citizens to grow his maximum growth potential. Rights are fundamental because of two reasons.First,these rights are mentioned in the constitution which guarantees them and the second,they are justifiable i.e enforceable by law.

The rights are fundamental rights because they are mentioned in the constitution, their violation is a punishable offence, no one can do any thing that violates some one fundamental rights, If any fundamental right of a citizen is violated by anyone, he or she has right to go to court for justice....
