In what sense was mrs Packletide like Nimrod? Was she really so?

Nimrod was a biblical hunter who was born to be very mighty. When Packletide decided to kill a tiger, which was quite adventurous, She was compared to Nimrod. She was sarcastically compared to Nimrod. She really wasnt that great hunter but she wanted to outshine Mrs Loona Bimberton who became famous after being carried eleven miles in an airplane with an Algerian pilot.
