In what time a sum will become double of it at 8% per annum rate of interest?

Let the sum be x and number of years be y.

So, 8xy/100 = 2x

Or, 8y/100 = 2x/x = 2

Or, y = 2 * 100 / 8 = 25.

➡️ In 25 years.
