Total distance =100+150=250
Speed =60km/hr=60*5/18=50/3
So time =distance /speed
T=15sec

The time taken by the train is 15 seconds.

Total distance travelled by the train (D) = Length of the train itself + Length of the platform it crosses

= (100 + 150)m

=250m

Speed of the train (S) = 60 km/hr.

In m/s, it would be (60 ×1000m) ÷ (3600s) = 16.67m/s       [1 hr = 3600s and 1 km =1000m]

We know, Time taken (T) = D/S  =  250/16.67 = 14.997s ≈ 15s.

Time taken is 15s.
