si = amount - principle
si = 512-400 = $112
p = $400
r = 14%
therefore
time = (100×si)/(p×r)
=100×112/400×14
2 years
si = 512-400 = $112
p = $400
r = 14%
therefore
time = (100×si)/(p×r)
=100×112/400×14

ANSWER : 2 years...
Final Amount(A) = $512
Princiapl(P) = $400
Rate of Interest(R) = 14% p.a
FORMULAS USED:
SI = P×R×T/100
A = P + SI
⇒$512 = $ 400 + SI
⇒SI = $512 - 400$
= $112
∴112 = 400×14×T/100
⇒112 = 4×14×T
⇒T = 112/56
⇒T = 2 years...
I HOPE IT HELPS...!!!
