Given :-

  • In what time will a sum of money double itself 15% per annum

To Find :-

  • Time period

Solution :-

Let the Principal be Rs. P

Rate of Interest = 15 % p.a.

Time period = T year

Amount = 2P (sum of money doubles itself.)

S.I = A - P

= 2P - P = P

Time = ( S.I × 100 )/P × R

= ( P × 100 )/P × 15

= 100/15 = 20/3 Year

Answer :

Hence,

Time period = 20/3 Year.
