Answer:

Given :

  • A sum of Rs 8000 amount to Rs 8360 at 6% per annum simple interest.

To Find :-

  • What is the time period.

Solution :-

First, we have to find the simple interest :

Given :

  • Principal = Rs 8000
  • Amount = Rs 8360

According to the question by using the formula we get,

\implies \sf\boxed{\bold{\pink{Simple\: Interest =\: A - P}}}\\

\implies \sf Simple\: Interest =\: Rs\: 8360 - Rs\: 8000\\

\implies \sf\bold{\purple{Simple\: Interest =\: Rs\: 360}}\\

Now, we have to find the time period :

Given :

  • Principal = Rs 8000
  • Rate of Interest = 6% per annum
  • Simple Interest = Rs 360

According to the question by using the formula we get,

\implies \sf\boxed{\bold{\pink{T =\: \dfrac{S.I \times 100}{P \times r}}}}\\

\implies \sf T =\: \dfrac{360 \times 100}{8000 \times 6}

\implies \sf T =\: \dfrac{36\cancel{000}}{48\cancel{000}}

\implies \sf T =\: \dfrac{36}{48}

\implies \bf T =\: \dfrac{3}{4}\: years

Now, we have to convert the time into months :

\implies \sf T =\: \bigg(\dfrac{3}{4} \times 12\bigg)\: months

\implies \sf T =\: \dfrac{\cancel{36}}{\cancel{4}}\: months

\implies \sf\bold{\red{T =\: 9\: months}}

\therefore The time period is 9 months .

As per given in the equation the data given as follows

\text { Given:- } \mathrm{P}=\text { Rs. } 8000, \mathrm{~A}=\text { Rs. } 8368, \mathrm{R}=6 \%

as we know that

\begin{array}{l}\text { Amount }=\text { Principal }(1+((\text { Rate } \times \text { time }) / 100)) \\=(8360 / 8000)=1+((6 \times \mathrm{t}) / 100)\end{array}

\begin{array}{l}=(8360 / 8000)-1=((6 \times \mathrm{t}) / 100) \\=\mathrm{t}=[(8360-8000) / 8000] \times(100 / 6)\end{array}

now

\begin{array}{l}=(360 / 8000) \times(100 / 6) \\=(6 / 8) \times 12 \text { months } \\=9 \text { months }\end{array}

so finally we concluded that it requires 9 months for the said question.
