Answer:

Let the principal P = Rs. x.

Then, Amount (A) = Rs. 6x

Rate R =5% p.a.

∴ S.I. = A−P = Rs. 6x− Rs. x= Rs. 5x

∴ Time =

P×R

S.I.×100

=

x×5

5x×100

=100 years

Now, P= Rs. x, A=.Rs. 12x,T=100 years,

S.l. = Rs. 12x− Rs. x = Rs. 11x

∴R=

P×T

S.I.×100

=

x×100

11x×100

= 11%
