Let the principal be P. Simple Interest = 3/8 times of P = 3P/8

rate of interest = 25/4

S.I = P *R*T/100

3P/8 = P*25/4*T/100

3P/8=P*T/16

3/8 = T/16 T = 3*16/8 = 6 years
