In what time will the simple interest per annum on a certain sun by three -fourth of the principal at 6%per annum?

take principal as x
then interest is x*(3/4)
Simple interest= PTR/100 (where p ia principal T is Time R is rate of interest Per annum)
now subsitute values in simple interest formulae
SI=PTR/100
x*(3/4)=x×T×6/100
3x/4 = 6xT/100
After solving above equation
25/2 = T
12.5=T
so time is 12.5 years
