North east trade winds are winds which blows onshore on the eastern sides of continents or western oceanic margins in the tropical latitudes extending from equator to 23.5 degree northward. They converge with south east trade winds at ITCZ.
It is of great importance because
a)it facilitate trading through oceans by ships as they get influenced by winds and ships transient smoothly.
b)north east trade winds brings heavy rainfall along eastern continental regions results in tropical forests eg Amazon in Brazil.
