Answer:

Sexual mode of reproduction is considered to be better than the asexual mode of reproduction. This is because, in asexual reproduction, the only single parent gives rise to another offspring which is exactly similar to the parent as it passes its genetic material to the offspring. So, there are no chances of inducing variations in progeny and so their environmental adaptability remains low. In the sexual mode of reproduction, there are fusion gametes of two parents, male and female. As a result, the offspring has the genetic material of both, and so there is greater variation among the offsprings. They are better suitable and adaptive to their environment due to variations introduced in them during meiosis cell division and crossing over. So they are more suited to the environment they live in. So, organisms born through the sexual mode of reproduction are the better and sexual mode of reproduction is better than the asexual mode.

Explanation:

In asexual reproduction only single parent is involved in the production of new individual and less energy is required. But in the case of sexual reproduction 2 parents, female and a male is required in formation of a new individual and more energy is required.

So,in this way we can conclude that asexual reproduction is better than sexual reproduction.
