The concept of secularism is not Indian, rather it is a western concept which originated after the long history of wars based on religious reasons and extreme interference of church in the Politics.

Secularism is a result of learning from the dark age where King was divine and religion was the rule of land. While in India, religion was always a guiding force in politics but its interference was never such that it could dictate politics. Whether it was Hindu rulers or Muslims rulers, they used religion for their politics and self interest but were not used by religion and temples or mosques.

Hope this helps you ☺️☺️✌️✌️✅✅
