In what way is the Rutherford's atomic model is different from that the of Thompson's atomic model

rutherfords atomic model contains electrons while in Thomson's atomic model only nucleus and blank space is there

Here is your answer....


Rutherford explained electrons are are moving in a fix orbit and there is a positive charge in center of atom which is came to known as nucleus.


But according to Thomson there is a positively charged spehere in which electrons are embedded like a watermelon in which black seeds are electrons.
