One advantage of using a pH meter to measure the acidity of a solution is that it is a lot simpler to use than using test strips or completing a titration experiment

The pH meters are usually much more precise and accurate than test strips. When a test strip is used, it changes colour and is compared with a colour chart. A problem with this is that different people see colours differently and may tend to interpret the colour comparison in different ways.
