In what way the electronic configuration of transition elements different from that of non transition elements ?

Transition elements are the D block & F block ( inner transitional ) elements, their electronic configuration is ( n - 1)d¹⁻¹⁰ ns⁰⁻²  ( D block element's electronic configuration )

D block elements usually have incompletely filled d subshell, but for non transition elements they don't hav any d subshell nd their subshell is completely filled nd hav ns¹⁻² ( S block element's electronic configuration) OR ns² np¹⁻⁶ ( P block element's electronic configuration ) in their outer most shell......
