The Mayans, Aztecs and Incas were all indigenous people who lived in and around Mexico, Central America, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia and Columbia.

The Mayans were the oldest among the three and they flourished between 1800 BC and 250 AD. They were the only indigenous people of Mesoamerica who had a fully developed writing system.

The Aztecs flourished during 1300 to 1521 in Central Mexico. A majority of them spoke the Nahuatl language.

The Incas thrived during 1438 to 1533. The Inca empire included parts of Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Chile and Columbia. The language used by Incas was Quechua.
