learned behavior, even though they may have innate components or underpinning ,allow an individual organism to adapt to change the environment .Learned behavior are modified by previous experiences; example of simple learned behaviors inculd habituation and imprinting .

Roles are in a way learned behaviour because it is the social setting of a person that determines his role at times.

When individuals make choices about their roles, they are mostly making choices based on the conditioning by the society he lives in.

He tries to conform to the norms of that society, as is said by Talcott Parsons.
