Answer:

The most important points of difference between the Rigveda and the modern books is that today books are written and read. The Vedas were memorized by students, and later passed on to the later generations by speaking, listening and then memorizing.

Answer:

The books we use today are written, printed and then read, whereas Rigveda is the oldest of all Vedas and is supposed to have been composed about 3,500 years ago. It was recited and heard and passed on from one generation to another. It was written down several centuries after it was first composed and printed less than 200 years ago. It provides most of the information regarding the early Vedic period.
