in what ways are wars wasteful

As we have hear that everything is fair in love and war
But we don't no consequences of war .
War has other synonym destruction. Destruction of property ,farm, family, animals and much more. War has two propability one is win and other is to loss but one who wins the war loss someting i.e. if he is a king he loss its soldier and wealth.
And one who looses its his/ her mistake.
Solution
War can be conclude by convincing or conversation or adjusting

a huge number of peoples is killed
economy of the country decreases
every where bloodshed
everyone becomes the enemy of each other
the thought of violence spread quickly
