Changes in the British policy :-

  1. Company rule in India will end and India will come directly under the British crown.
  2. The monarch of the Great Britain will now be called as the Emperor/Empress of India.
  3. British officials will not interfare in the people's social and religious life.
  4. There will be an increase in Indian policemens' salaries.
  5. The British will now not discriminate between them and Indians and will allow Indians to achieve a high rank.
  6. The age of the ICS (Indian civil services) will be reduced from 21 to 18 years.
  7. Number of British troops will be increased in the Indian army such that for every 2 Indians there is one British troop.
