A meme is an idea, behaviour, or style that spreads from person to person within a culture — often with the aim of conveying a particular phenomenon, theme etc. Memes were able to redirect the underlying tendencies of the genes of humans. Memes have naturally allowed the host bodies to escape the hardwired behaviour of their genes to a certain degree. Due to memes, humans have shed the pressure of nature's environmental selection.

Memes for simple artefacts slowly elevated the human above the insurmountable walls of the pressure of environmental selection. Ecological psychology says that the environment and the human-made artefacts steer the embodied mind of the humans. There is also lack of clarity in distinguishing the goal of a protected and less polluted environment due to use of artefacts. The artefacts only define the outer perspective of the environment, whereas it is important to be seen from social, ethical, organizational, natural, and economic aspects also.
