Public Sector- At the time of independence, there were few industries which were necessary for industrial development of country and needed large investments. Hence they were kept to government. They perform poorer then private sectors.Private Sector- These are own and manage by individual. Here competition is intense and motive is profit making. They perform better than public sector as they know that they can only survive if their product is good.
