A service is an action or helping work to someone. Direct service may involve helping someone through offering advice or helping in doing work. For instance teachers, nurses among others may offer services directly to people. Now when we look at direct service on it's own, it involves direct correspondence to people. Direct service may be productive in terms of time, trust and expectation.

Some of these direct services may include government involvement in provision of security to its citizens through police.
