In my point of view, knowing about the culture and environment of a place will help in producing suitable buildings sucessfully for mental and behavioral activities.
Environment plays a huge role in influence the traditional architecture as , if we take an example of Jantar Mantar in Delhi and Rajasthan (India) it tells the time relating to the atmosphere and what part of day is happening. It was successful in the ancient period as the sky used be clear mostly and the level of pollution was very low by which it was easy to find out the time of that place. Also the TAJ MAHAL of Agra the pride of India co constructed by Raja Akbar for his Begum Mumtaaz was purely made out of white marble which is now turning darker due to the increase in the pollution in India also the rivers around it are getting polluted
