A few of the differences between the Georgia Constitution (GA) and the US constitution are as follows:

1.  The judge of the GA Supreme Court is elected, whereas, the supreme court judge of the U.S. is appointed.

2. The GA government has lesser members, when compared to the US government.

3. The legislative branch in the GA is called as the "General Assembly" and the branch in the US is called as "Congress".

4. The judicial branch of GA has trial courts and appellate courts. The judicial branch of the US has the supreme court, lower courts and special courts.

5. The GA's emphasis is on, the protection of property, life and liberty and the US Constitution emphasis is on the pursuit of happiness, life and liberty.

6. In terms of legislation, the Georgia constitution indicates how funds for various programs and projects need to be used, but the US constitution makes no such indication.
