The Indian state works in a cohesive manner so as to prevent the majorities to dominate.

Around 70 percentage of human population in India are Hindus.

This is because they were here since primitive times.

The constitution of India upholds the values of secularism and fraternity to avoid the dominance of majority religious groups.

The day India allows them to dominate the democracy will be endangered.

Answer:

The second way in which Indian secularism works to prevent the above domination is through a strategy of noninterference. This means that in order to respect the sentiments of all religions and not interfere with religious practices, the State makes certain exceptions for particular religious communities.

With the 42nd Amendment of the Constitution of India enacted in 1976, the Preamble to the Constitution asserted that India is a secular nation. institutions to recognize and accept all religions, enforce parliamentary laws instead of religious laws, and respect pluralism. India does not have an official state religion.→ The Indian State distances itself from the religion and it is not ruled by a religious group & nor does it support any one religion. → Equal respect is given to all religions. In order to prevent domination by one particular community, the state may interfere in the religion.
