Answer:

They are autotrophs (auto-self, troph-nutrition). They can make their own food through photosynthesis. All they need is sunlight (photons), water and CO2 which they convert into glucose (starch) using chloroplast present in the leaves. (Pigment- Chlorophyll).

On the other hand, we humans are heterotrophs. We need nourishment and cannot make our own food.
