Following are the ways by which we observe that caste system is declined in India :

1. Many political leaders like Phule, Gandhiji etc. have helped to promote a casteless society.

2. Emphasis on caste have been reduced by economics development.

3. Today urbanisation exist, which diminished the awareness of caste, as people rub shoulders in buses, trains and offices.

4. Many types of growth like in literacy and education has helped to decrease the belief in caste.

5. Their exist a constitutional provisions like Right to Equality to all before law because it helped to prevent discrimination legally.
