In act II, we get greater insights into Iago's troubled and jealous soul. As Cassio and Desdemona greet each other, he twists evidence of an innocent friendship into lust and sexual desire. He interprets the way Cassio "takes her [Desdemona] by the palm" as an indication he wants to sleep with her.

Answer:

Iago the villian of Shakespeare's play Othello. It is he who feeling jealous from othello, because othello captured his beloved heart whose name was Desdemona he does not only fall in love of this beauty but even also marriage. He is only the character of whole play who want to destroy Othello s

happy family by pouring the seeds of doubt in Othello' s mind. In this play there was an another character Cassio A handsome young boy from starting of this play he work under Othello and take a monthly price from his master, In act 2 scene 1 we can see cassio came othello 's absense for some urgent work, taken this advantage, Iago inform othello that Desdemona has an Illicit relationship with Cassio because she is young, handsome and beautiful to the comparison with othello. So it is normal that any beautiful lady also liked a man who will have this personality like Cassio.

Iago also informed othello and remind them he told all these of Othello, because he always respect othello like a friend. After listening all these things any other lesser man would have going out of her mind, same as othello starting to doubt Desdimona's character, Desdemona trying to make him understand that she is innocent and does not have an illicit relationship or don't have an affair with

cassio but blind othello did belived her words, and take a decision to give him divorse . Desdemona repeatedly told Othello she is innocent " I do perceive here a devided duty " . As a wife this line make him more loveable character in Othello.

Iago is a very funniest character because he already been marriage but he loves other wife and trying to capture her heart with all her attempts but when he did not get succes he trying to ruin their life which every villan does in every Drama, in Shakespeare drama these themes are common. In othello Desdemona's happy life getting jealous of Iago

. All these nature of Iago make him a true villian of this play.

Actually the story of this play made between three or four character The kind probably Desdemona 's father, Othello a venitian soldier, a beautiful lady Desdemona and Beautiful young man cassio. During this play we can see Othello falls in love Desdemona and marry him but Iago's temptation made him blind same as the blindness of Eve in paradise lost book iv when God repeatedly told Adam and Eve don't eat the fruit from the tree of knowledge but Eves sweetnes falls in Satan's line quickly eat the forbidden fruit same as othello Othello falls in Villian iago's line and believed all his words and killed her most innocent and beautiful wife Desdemona but when he knew the reality of Iago's motive he committed suicide.

In every Shakespeare plays we can see the victory of Villian and defeat of hero, the truth loose

in front of lie . Same as Othello Iago's motives looses the faith of Othello. Finally we can say the theme of mistrust was broken but it is too late and the theme of Shakespeare's every drama remain in Othello. As a Villian Iago does his work fulfill without any doubt.
