indo-gangetic plains different the peninsular  plateau in so many ways like

it consist of fine alluvial region and in indo-gangetic plain divided into indus,ganga,brahmaputra rivers so these runs from Himalayas and hilly region so they bring slit which is fertile so it is different from peninsular plateau
