Answer:
When Nelson Mandela was young he thought as long as he obeyed the customs of his tribe he would not be troubled by the laws of the man or God. But when he grew older he came to know that his boyhood freedom was an illusion, when he realised that his freedom was taken away from from the very beginning.
But sooner he realised that not only his freedom was taken away but also the people around him were not free.
The hunger for freedom transformed him from a family man to a man of his people and a frightened young man into a bold one. He was more selfless and virtuous than ever.
