Answer:  english = 16 students

                math = 8 students

fraction of students liking science  =  2/5

Step-by-step explanation:

students liking english= 2/5*40

                                     = 16

students liking math  = 1/5 * 40

                                     = 8

students liking science  =total no of students - (total no. of students liking math + english)

students liking science  = 40 - 24

                                       = 16

fraction of students liking science = 16/40

                                                        = 2/5
