In the Engel vs Vitale case, the Warren court ruled that public schools compulsorily needed prayer. It was one of the most historical cases in the United States court in which the judgement was passed in the year 1962. The court decided that government officials had no right to decide an official prayer for students. As a result schools got the liberty of choosing their own prayers.
