Far away from the sea, there is sand, whose specific heat capacity is 5 times less than that of water. Hence, it absorbs the heat from the sun quickly to get heated up.
In the sea, since the water has high specific heat capacity, it absorbs the heat from the Sun slowly to get heated up.
From the above, it is clear that if you keep a bowl of water FAR AWAY FROM THE SEA on sand, the sand will provide heat to the bowl, hence water in it will evaporate fast.
