Answer:The Yogi Aditya Nath government plans to build a grand statue of Lord Rama in temple town Ayodhya.
The 100-metre tall grand statue of Lord Rama will be made over river Saryu under state tourism department's plan called Navya Ayodhya.
Director general, Tourism, UP Awanish Awasthi – who outlined the proposal – made a presentation to this effect before governor Ram Naik on Monday evening.
The statue would be built at an estimated cost of Rs 330 crore and will be the face of religious tourism in the state. Awasthi told reporters that clearance from National Green Tribunal was yet to be obtained.
