Such organism which lay eggs and possess a scaly exoskeleton are placed under the class 'Reptilia'.

Eg.Turtles possess scales on it's body and they lay egg on the crevasses made in the sea shore.

As we know that Turtle belong to reptile class, but they have the subclass which is known as dispsids.

Dispsids are popularly known as subclass of the reptilla, and this subclass of the reptilla are based on the number and arrangement of opening in the skull.

So you can place any organism in dispsids to find the scaly exoskeleton and lays eggs outside water.
