if we consider 1st day when menses begin then from 1 to 3-5 day (bleeding days) will not lead to fertilization but that time the body is under chances of having infections easily because the vaginal opening is broaden in this time ...so according to me no day is a good day for having unprotected sex.

sanshri2010: in case of any doubt u can ask
ammad: but after bleeding if sex takes place then fertilisation can occur r not before the 12th day
sanshri2010: see i m telling u a case like this may also happen.... generally when bleeding is going on there is minimum risk of fertilization but in some cases may happen that when bleeding is going on of egg of first ovary that time ova from 2nd ovary released (i knew it seems impossible but we cannot exactly say anything in such cases as at the time of bleeding progesterone is low but estrogen is increasing which is responsible for maturation of ovary) and fertilization may occur.
sanshri2010: but yes generally during bleeding phase fertilization do not occur and till ovulation day (14 day) it i safe but these day of menstrual flow are not exactly calculative plus minus 5 day may occur.
