In which direction will the light ray falling normally to a mirror be reflected. Justify your answer in 50 - 80 words.​

When light ray is incident on plane mirror it undergoes reflection. When the light ray is incident normally on the plane mirror then by using laws of reflection angle of incidence is equal to angle of reflection. Hence, as the angle of incidence is zero degree angle of reflection is zero degree

When a ray of light falls normally on the surface of a plane mirror , the following things happen:

1. Incident ray is reflected back along the same path.

2. Angle if incidence is zero and angle of  reflection will be  zero [according to laws of reflection] .
