In which format the data is stored in an XML file?

Hi. XML stands for eXtensible Markup Language. It also like HTML is a tag based language. We can define our own tags in it. Is is used to store information and CSS can be used to present the data in a tabular form. The extension of XML file is .xml. Hope it helps!
