Solution :-

The atmosphere has five different layers that are determined by the changes in temperature that happen with increasing altitude.

1) Troposphere - It is the layer where we live.

2) Stratosphere - It is the layer where jet planes fly.

3) Mesosphere - This layer is extremely cold with temperature of - 90° C

4) Thermosphere - This layer of atmosphere is very thin.

5) Exosphere - This is the upper most layer of the atmosphere where atoms and molecules escape into space.

There is no such layer where gases are not found. The exosphere extends to 10000 km, beyond which you are effectively considered in space. There is not a clear cutoff point at which gases are no longer present because their concentration gradually fades with increasing altitude.

We have five layers in our atmosphere, covering the earth and each of these layers have separate traits. The layers are as mentioned below:

1. Troposphere

This layer extends from the surface of earth to an altitude of 11 kilometres. It is the place of occurence of all weather phenomenons.

2. Stratosphere

This layer extends above troposphere to an altitude of about 50 km and it is the place where jet airplanes often fly.

3. Mesosphere

This layer extends above stratosphere upto an altitude of about 87 kilometres. It is the coldest part of our atmosphere where temperature often falls down to -90 degrees on Celsius scale.

4. Thermosphere

This layer extends above mesosphere and extends to an altitude of about 500 kilometres. It contains very few air molecules due to which the air in this layer is quite thin.

5. Exosphere

This is the outermost limit of our atmosphere. Much informations is presently not available about this layer due to lack of research regarding this topic.

There is no such layer in atmosphere which is void of all gases as atmosphere itself means' "an envelope of air" so air molecules are obvious in all layers of atmosphere.
