In 1906, the assembly at Calcutta was directed by Dada Bhai Naoroji. In this assembly, the Congress was enforced by the extremists to affirm the resolutions of Resolution of Swaraj, Resolution on Swadeshi Resolution on Boycott and Resolution on Partition of Bengal. Moreover, these commitments which were affirmed by the moderates with half heart and later on it also became one of the reasons of the split of Congress.
