in which of the case "Area of contact" will be greater,if force applied in both the cases is equal but pressure in case I is 4 Pascal and in case II 9 pascal. Give reason for your answer.

pressure is equal to force / area when area is more the will be less... in case1 the pressure will be more as compared to that of in case2 to the pressure will be less....

PRESSURE S EQUAL TO FORCE/AREA WHEN THE AREA IS MORE THIS WILL BE LESS..IN CASE 1THE PRESSURE WILL BE MORE AS COMPARED TO THAT OF ITS CASE 2 TO THE PRESSURES WILL BE LESS....
