In case of 50 ml of 0.1 M CH3COOH + 50 ml of 0.1 M KOH the pH is greater than 7.

Acetic acid is weak acid so it ionises partially while KOH is strong base so it ionises completely. Now solution contain more number of OH- as compared to H+. So 50 ml of 0.1 M NaOH cannot be neutralised by 50 ml of 0.1 M acetic acid. In this case pH is more than 7.
