strongest :
sodium chloride , water , alcohol , carbon dioxide.
since sodium chloride is a solid that's why it has the strongest inter - molecular forces of attraction and the next strongest inter - molecular forces of attraction is of the liquids and then comes the gas ............
i hope that this will help u......................^_^

kvnmurty: between alcohol and water how do u decide the stronger one ?

The  order for strongest bond to weakest force of attraction is :-
sodium chloride > water > alcohol > carbon dioxide
NaCl > H₂O > C₂H₆O > CO₂
(i) Sodium Chloride has the strongest force of attraction as it is solid
(ii) Water has weaker than sodium chloride because it is liquid
(iii) Alcohol has the same
(iii) Carbon Dioxide also and weaker among all because it is gas
*Solid has greatest force of attraction because inter molecular particles are closely packed and inter molecular space is less
*Inter molecular space in liquid is greater than solid, so the force of attraction is less
*Gas has the inter molecular particles with greater space,  the force of attraction in gas lesser than liqiud
